We combine design, simulation, materials, and manufacturing expertise into solutions that don't just work in CAD,
but are engineered for production, assembly, and series manufacturing.
Development of a touchscreen monitor including complete housing design and integration of the electronic components. In addition to installation space, mounting, weight, and heat generation, plastic warpage, material transitions, and light guides were taken into account. Moldflow analyses supported tool-oriented design and the definition of suitable gating concepts. The project work also included coordination with manufacturing and tooling, as well as the development of assembly and testing fixtures for small-series production.
Mechanical development of electronics and control boxes for automotive applications based on defined installation spaces and specified electronic components. Circuit boards, fuses, connectors, and other components were integrated in a space-optimized manner and protected by plastic housings designed for manufacturability. The development was supported from interface definition and tooling coordination through to sampling and pilot production, all the way to a production-ready component.
Development and optimization of mechanical support structures within defined installation spaces and interfaces. Starting from initial CAD concepts, geometry, ribbing, and mounting were developed iteratively and evaluated using FEA and modal analysis. The results were fed directly into further design iterations to specifically optimize stiffness and vibration behavior. At the same time, installation space, interfaces, and manufacturing-oriented design for metal casting processes were taken into account.
For us, good design doesn't end with the finished CAD model. Even during development, we consider how a product will later be assembled, tested, and manufactured cost-effectively. From simple assembly aids and test fixtures to automated assembly and testing systems, we develop the equipment required for reproducible, scalable production.
